So I had a plate full of really disgusting-looking vegetarian something or other and Jessie turned to me and said, “Oh, that was nice of the dining hall. They digested your food for you.”
That’s what she said!
I remember cardboard canoli with great clarity. Also, a month of potatoes at every single meal.
My favorites were thinly disguised leftovers as soup and/or casserole. Also, it’s really not that hard to get spinach right!!
I had that roast beef on a roll. It was definitely a let down.
